Pre-College Programs

CARE seeks to prepare students with varied education experiences and economic backgrounds for admission and enrollment into higher education. Our pre-collegiate programs are designed to develop students' skills in core academic areas while preparing them for college life.

CARE Freedom school

The CARE Freedom School is a reading enrichment program that supports students in grades K-6 in enhancing their reading skills during the summer. The program also includes field trips and family engagement.

Upward Bound Classic

The Upward Bound Program enriches high school students' educational experiences through academic instruction, counseling, tutoring and a variety of fun and educational activities.

Upward Bound Math & Science

The Upward Bound Math & Science Program exists to expand and enrich students' learning related to math and science. Additionally, the program prepares students to pursue college degrees.
