CARE Freedom School is a reading enrichment program that supports K-6 grade students in enhancing their reading skills during the summer. The program also includes field trips and family engagement.

Upward Bound Program enriches highs school students educational experience through academic instruction, counseling, tutoring and a variety of fun and educational activities.

Summer Seminoles Program is an immersive one-week residential institute focused on college preparation and social engagement to realize possibilities that exist at Florida State University.
upward Bound Math & Science
Upward Bound Math & Science Program exists to expand and enrich students' learning related to math and science. Additionally, the program prepares students to pursue college degrees.
Other pre-collegiate programs that have a similar mission of promoting access for underrepresented students that are operated by other FSU departments include the College Reach Out Program and Educational Talent Search. Additionally, the Office of Admissions operates the High School Partners Program to promote college enrollment from select counties.
