CROP Guidelines

Students must qualify for the College Reach-Out Program on at least one of the economic guidelines AND at least one of the academic guidelines. All guidelines refer to the most current data available at the time of the student's entry into the program. FSU CROP only admits students who attend a school in Gadsden or Leon counties.

Economic Guidelines

  • < 185% Poverty=Family's taxable income does not exceed 185% of the poverty level
  • Participating in WAGES=Family receiving temporary cash assistance under WAGES (Work and Gain Economic Self-sufficiency)
  • Receiving Public Assistance=Family receiving public assistance
  • Free and Reduced Lunch=Student eligible for Free and Reduced Lunch Program

Academic Guidelines

  • GPA less than 2.5
  • No Level II-III Math and/or Science
  • Low FCAT 2.0 Reading, 2.0 Math, 2.0 Science Score, and/or E.O.C. exam scores
  • Retained
  • Suspended/Expelled
  • Absent more than 21 days in school
  • Enrolled in Dropout Prevention program
  • Florida Writing Assessment Score Below State Average
