CROP Guidelines

Students must qualify for the College Reach-Out Program on at least one of the economic guidelines AND at least one of the academic guidelines. All guidelines refer to the most current data available at the time of the student's entry into the program. FSU CROP only admits students who attend a school in Gadsden or Leon counties.

Economic Guidelines

  • Received Public Assistance: Student's family received public assistance through the Supplemental Security Income and/or Housing Choice Voucher Programs during the preceding calendar year
  • Free and Reduced Lunch: Student eligible to participate in Free and Reduced Lunch Program
  • Orphan or Ward: Student is an orphan or ward of the court with no taxable income

Academic Guidelines

  • 1st Generation
  • GPA less than 2.5
  • Low Grades in Math or Science
  • Low Achievement Level scores in English/Language Arts (ELA) and Math (FSA) tests
  • Below Level III in Algebra I End of Course Assessment
  • Retained
  • Suspended/Expelled
  • Absent more than 25 days in school
  • Enrolled in Dropout Prevention program
