College Reach-Out Program

What is the College Reach-Out Program?
Since 1992, The Florida State University has implemented the College Reach-Out Program (CROP) as part of a state-wide initiative funded by the Florida Department of Education.

At FSU, CROP is administered by the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement, and serves the following schools in Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties:

Havana Middle School
East Gadsden High School
West Gadsden High School
Wakulla High School

Lincoln High School

The College Reach-Out Program is an educational and motivational program that is designed to help students prepare for a successful college education. Participants in CROP must be students in grades 6-12 who meet certain educational and economic criteria as set forth by the State of Florida. There are two categories and potential students must meet at least 1 criteria in each category.  To find out more specific information regarding the Guidelines for Selection of CROP Students in the 2009-2010 academic year then please check the document section below.  Students must be enrolled at one the targeted schools to be eligible to apply.
